Further to our blog earlier this month, we can now update you that there are going to be public inquiries for both the proposals to expand Campsfield and open the Haslar dentition centres. This is welcome news to ensure that there is light and transparency for this process on a subject matter that does appear very hidden from public view, and at a moment that seems pivotal in the future use of immigration detention in this country.
