People were detained in Campsfield House for 25 years, from 1993 until its closure in 2018.
In August 2024, the government confirmed plans to re-open the detention centre next to Oxford Airport and the Oxford University Technology Park. If the plan goes ahead, hundreds of people will be imprisoned without trial, without time limit, and without proper judicial oversight.
Strong local and national opposition defeated the 2015 plan to expand Campsfield and led to the closure in 2018. With your support we can Keep Campsfield Closed. Do support if you can and help to spread the word.
