Last week we held an online briefing for our members with the impressive Micro Rainbow about their independent community based alternative to immigration detention.
We have talked a lot in the past about the independent project run by Detention Action and the Home Office funded projects run by Action Foundation and the King’s Arms Project in the past. Here is another example of a compassionate and practical alternative to immigration detention. When you hear a politician say that there is no alternative to the Government’s current plans on asylum and immigration, this growing body of evidence is a powerful answer to such a claim. There is a compassionate and practical alternative!
