Last week, the House of Lords voted in favour of an amendment to introduce a time limit for immigration detention and to end indefinite detention for EU and Swiss nationals.
The Bill returns to the House of Commons on Monday so we are keen to encourage MPs to show their support for these changes to clauses 9,10 & 11 of the Immigration and Social Security Coordination (EU Withdrawal) Bill
We know that it will be a real struggle to get through the Commons, so it would be great to see a strong turnout to vote and to show the strength of feeling across the House to end indefinite detention. Do please encourage your MP to support these changes. The campaign continues!
