After the summer recess, the Immigration Bill is due to re-appear in the House of Lords next week. After the disappointment of seeing the Time Limit amendment fail to win a majority in the House of Commons, we remain hopeful for this issue gaining more support in the Lords.
We are really pleased to see that Baroness Hamwee has picked up the amendment promoted by David Davis MP with cross-party support. And our members across the Forum are talking to Peers on all sides of the House to endeavour to build support for this amendment. The campaign continues!
